The journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to support the long-term preservation and continued availability of its published content. These systems enable participating libraries and preservation networks to maintain archival copies of the journal's digital publications.

The journal also assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to its published articles to facilitate persistent identification, citation, and reliable access to scholarly content.

Through these digital preservation and identification mechanisms, the International Journal of Enterprise Modelling (IEIA) aims to maintain the integrity, discoverability, and long-term accessibility of its scholarly publications.
